a quiet time like this

This quote has been recorded down in my phone for days so finally I've decided to blog them down right now (:

"If you're tired, rest a day or two, take some time off. Don't quit."

I saw it when I was tired. It kinda lifted up my spirit (((:
Don't quit.
Yea, I should take some time off.
So, I've decided!
Tomorrow I will do what I initially planned to do ((((:

Anyway...
Have you ever wonder that the friends you make right now could be your friends for life?
When I say friends for life, I really mean it literally.
Just think.
How many of your primary school friends do you still keep in touch with.
And how many of this still keep in touch with friends you can comfortably tell them everything and still be as close as you used to be.
Moving on, how many secondary school friends, how many JC friends or poly friends that you feel the same way.
When we were young, I believe that we do tell each other "let's be best friends forever!".
At that point, I truly believe that we will be best friends forever.
But, somehow, life is just not so easy.
After separating from each other for so long, the geographical distance does play a part in destroying this "let's be best friends forever" dream.
Oh well.
Anyway, what I am trying to say is, take a look around you, all these friends that you can always joke with, will most probably be your friends forever.
At least, at this point, I believe so.

Who do you imagine will be sitting at the void deck drinking tea and playing chess with you during a hot sunny afternoon when you have wrinkles and grey hair and false teeth that you could remove easily from your mouth?

I want to dedicate my blessing to two of my very close friends.
I believe that after this incident, your love for each other will grow even stronger and I really see your wedding in my mind already hahaha! ((:
The other day, I was imagining myself giving a speech during your wedding dinner! Ohmygosh hahahahahaha.
I see so much love in you guys that seriously I feel that this world is really beautiful in its own way.
Of course, there may be scars, tears, disappointment, anger, but, there's always love.
Haha so cliche.
But, it's true.
Sometimes I wonder to myself, how can love be such a great thing.
I know we say love is not everything.
But, time after time, it proves to me that it is a powerful tool to keep people alive.
These are true stories.

Lastly, some other random thoughts:
Sometimes we really don't need to be so practical in life.
It's the stupid silly things that we do that make us remember how fun life is.
Always thinking of the practical side makes life dull and predictable.
I want a life fills with lots of surprises.
A life fills with uncertainties.
A life that makes me wonder what will happen next.

And looking at the time, I should probably grab some rest now.
A long long day ahead!
