moments

some people treasure food, some people treasure money, others treasure books and also cars, but for me, i treasure moments.

moments.
they only happen at that instance.
as long as you miss the moment, you will never get it back.
that's how precious moments are.
(maybe that's why they created precious moments! haha! okay that's lame)

anyway i really treasure all the weird-weird-but-meaningful-to-me moments.
10/10/10 - when will you ever come across such date again?
100 years later.
and yea, where would you be then?
so, indirectly, if you miss it, it's impossible to have it back.

11:11 - there are only two such timings a day.
okay, if you calculate, there are 14 such timings per week, roughly 56 such timings per month and so on. you may find them appear a lot of times, but tell me, how often you even notice them? and once you miss one, you only have one more chance to catch it on that day.

04:05 06/07/08 - one of my very memorable birthdays (: when i was in J2. the date was just perfect haha. and i know never will i come across such date again.

anyway i guess you got my idea.
numbers never fail to fascinate me. especially unique numbers. numbers with certain patterns.
i don't mind waiting for those moments to come.
i used to always type my messages one or two minutes before someone's birthday and send them out once the clock struck 00:00.
i tried to still do it whenever i can but my memory is not as superb anymore so i tend to forget more easily nowadays :/

waiting for the precious moment requires skills.
it tests your patience and your observance.
just try, observe the next special number/moment that appears in your life.
do something special.
or maybe do nothing at all but just treasure the moment.
it feels great to be able to remember that moment and to know its existence.

i think the next special date that people will take note is 20/10/2010 haha!

i have wsc apprecation party that day!
and at the time 20:10 on 20/10/2010 i think i will be watching the movie called eat pray love!
